Appointments & Fees

I welcome the opportunity to talk with you before you schedule your first appointment. I offer a one-time 15-minute telephone introduction at no charge, so you can learn more about me and ask any questions you may have. Together we'll decide if your needs and my approach are a good match. To schedule your introduction, you can email me or call my office at 425.920.8008.

General Psychotherapy First Appointments

Our first appointment will last 90-minutes and the fee is $225. You'll first complete paperwork that includes questions about your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual history, and a questionnaire that will help us both understand your current quality of life and level of distress. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy at this time and what your goals are (it's OK if you're not sure yet.) You'll have the opportunity to tell me more about your story (we will have begun this process during our telephone introduction) and ask any questions you may have. We'll also decide upon an initial plan for our work together. On-going appointments generally last 60-minutes with a fee of $150. Longer appointments may be arranged.

Mind-Body Assessment First Appointments

If you've received a referral from your healthcare provider for a mind-body assessment, or you're seeking support for a stress-related health condition, please allow 2-1/2 - 3 hours for our first appointment. The fee will be $375 - $525 (you'll know ahead of time.) We'll do everything noted above, and you'll also complete paperwork about your sleep, nutrition, and stress, plus questionnaires that will help us both understand the barriers that may be interrupting your health improvement. This information will help us customize an approach to meet your wellbeing goals as efficiently as possible. After I have reviewed your whole picture we'll schedule a follow-up appointment (the regular session fee applies) to decide upon a plan for our work together. In some cases you may be referred to other providers for further assessment or/and treatment.

Payment Options

Payment is expected in full at the time of service, with the exception of those with Premera, Lifewise, or other Blue Cross Health Plans (if your employer is located out-of-state) and Microsoft Cares (also known as Wellspring Family Services Employee Assistance Program.) A limited number of personal injury cases are accepted with deferred payments. Co-pays and co-insurance is expected at the time of service. I accept debit and credit cards only for these payments. You'll receive a statement from me for all payments made directly by you. Those with other insurance carriers may choose to submit this statement for possible reimbursement. However, I am unable to interact with other insurance carriers in any way.

Please note that cancellations must be made 48-hours prior to your appointment to avoid a charge.
