Living with cancer means medical appointments, medication schedules, and lots of self-care activities. The tool that helped me structure and track these efforts is my Self Journal!
When you live with cancer, life is busy. There are medical appointments, medication and supplements, and lots of self-care activities. It can be overwhelming to say the least! On top of this there are difficult emotions and treatment side effects that can make staying focused and detail-oriented a super challenge. I needed a plan.
For these reasons, I searched for a system that was more than a to-do list. I knew I needed a structure that could really help me organize my time, help me stay connected to beauty in my life (gratitude), self-assess my performance — daily and weekly — and provide structure for acknowledging my wins and opportunities for growth. Lastly, I wanted a paper and pen system where I could write with my hands rather than type (because I learn better when I write). A tall order indeed!
Enter the Best Self Co. and their awesome Self Journal. WooHoo. I have found the Self Journal to be a simple and effective system for managing my life and meeting my goals. Truly a blessing. I cannot recommend this system highly enough!
